Javed Akhtar’s book ‘Lava: The Drama of Words’, released @ JLF

Jaipur: With poets turning writers and composers is not any mere surprise. Javed Akhtar’s first book Tarkash has been famous all over for its flowing poems and Ghazals, once again this film writer and lyricist has something for his fans.

Javed’s new book ‘ Lava: The Drama of words’ was released today at the JLF by the cluster of noted authors and writers, which included Gulzar, Prasoon Joshi, Vishal Bharadwaj in the front lawns of Diggi palace.

The book shares the same publishing house his first book used to, “Rajkamal Publications”. The book comprises of Ghazals and couplets he wrote over these years. Each of the poen is based on different topics.

Speaking on the ocassion overwhelmed Javed told his fans, “By book is about the collection of my porems and ghazals i felt sharing with you all. It tool me 17 years to write and complete this memoir for you”. Later he also read out three poems from his book. gulzar who released the book for him congratulated him for everything and praised the book by saying “It is the combination of poems and beauty a lyricist can pen down”.
