Traffic may be diverted permanently from Ramniwas Bagh

Jaipur: In order to restore the beautification of Ramniwas Bagh and other tourist places in the area, an empowered committee formed by Supreme Court has directed to divert the four-way traffic permanently and to construct a service road from all four sides.

At present, traffic from New Gate to JLN Marg and, from Tonk Road to MD Road is running which is affecting the beauty of garden and also is a danger to the safety of tourists.

Committee has adviced an alternative to construct an underpass from Jaipur zoo (Animal section) to Jaipur zoo (Birds section) to provide the safety to visitors. JDA is searching for feasibility to construct an underpass on15 metres wide road.
